The Injured Knee Is A Pain
As I indicated previously, I intended to run several consecutive days in order to test, if the right knee is fit again. I ran 2 days in row without any problems. Each run was an easy 5 miles to Hendrickson Park in Valley Stream. On the 3rd day, I felt the pain in the knee again. The pain was not strong, but it was evident that if I continued running the knee would swell again forcing me to rest many more days.
It has been 5 weeks of rest so far and the fact that the knee is not well means something more is required than the rest, and ice, and elevation. It doesn’t take me usually so long to recover from an injury. I scheduled an appointment to see an orthopedist in Rockville Centre. They surprised me with how soon I could get the appointment.
