I have no race this coming weekend I would have to save my effort for, so I plan to run more miles. I started right at the beginning of the week, on Monday. I ran a long run while my daughter was in the class. As always, this had to be done in a swift pace as I have about 2 hours net before I have to pick her up. The weather was very suitable for running—breezy, 52°. At the beginning, I felt some stiffness in legs, probably from the race on Saturday, Healthy Kidney 10K in the Central Park, NYC. The pain dissipated after a couple of miles. I didn’t feel a need to stop for a water break. I am trying to run with two 8 oz. water bottles. It serves 2 purposes, water and as a body weight. I made those 14.5 miles in 1 hour 52 min. and I felt I could run few more miles.
