Our team signed up for the first time for the race. It takes place annually on Jones Beach. The companies bring tents and tables and start building their camps early morning, although the run/walk doesn’t start until 7 pm.

PC Richard had 550 registered participants. We were 4 and ran in coed category. It was the first race of this season for me. I was looking forward to it, but the day before I had to see a doctor and was prescribed penicillin. So my contribution to the team effort was minimal. Nevertheless, our team finished first in the coed category.
