On Saturday during the afternoon program at the track meet, the heat and sun were unbearable. There wasn’t a slightest breeze at the Herricks HS track in New Hyde Park. I think it was the hottest meet of the season so far. At least we didn’t have to drive all the way to the Merchant Marina as the previous year.

The kids were handling the heat better than we did and performed great. Some of them got more medals than all previous meets combined. The photo gallery will reveal more. Drag the circle or click a photo.
